Yes, the troop does follow the current state and local pandemic safety precautions. Currently scouts are allowed to bring their own tent to sleep in. Typically they would be teamed up with another scout their age. You need to follow what feels comfortable for you and your child. Please discuss any concerns you may have with the Scout Master.
-
We welcome new scouts and their families. We suggest that you contact the Scout Master and discuss your interest. You may use the contact form on this website to contact the Scout Master, Mr. Michael Gephart.

During the school year at scout meetings your scout will be asked to wear their uniforms. When school is out they are welcome to wear the scout t-shirt with jeans or shorts to the summer meetings. Please ask your patrol leader what is required for your uniform. Typically this is pants, shirt, belt, troop number (13) patches, Region Patch. Your patrol leader or Scout Master can provide additional details based on rank.

A troop and a scout's success is only as good as the support behind them. The Scout Master and many other adults and parents take their time and effort to make the scouting experience fun, safe and enjoyable. We need your help. If you would like to volunteer to help please speak with the Scout Master. We welcome parents on the camping trips, helping transport scouts to and from events and supporting other troop activities and events. Please get involved.
-
Yes you may. However there are safety requirements and forms you must fill out as well. All adults who participate in the scouting experience must go through Youth Protection Training (YPT) which you must take through "Scout Book" after you have been granted access.
